About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting fault diagnostics — actual diagnostics, not simply reading DTCs with a scan tool — alongside servicing and repairs, utilising various technical skills to support our projects.

Duties
- Remove and refit engines and transmissions for repairs or performance engine and transmission building
- Replace timing belts and chains, clutch and flywheel units, and service engines, transmissions and differentials unassisted
- Load and unload vehicles on to the dyno pre and post tuning (training provided)
- Utilise our advanced diagnostic tools to correctly diagnose faults and implement the necessary repairs
- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge in troubleshooting and problem-solving
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the automotive industry
- Genuine enthusiasm and passion for modified cars, tuning and upgrades
- Can-do attitude — you must be able to improvise and stay positive when a job doesn't have clear-cut instructions
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Understanding of vehicle electronics and basic principles (further specialist training can be provided)
- Familiarity with diagnostic scan tools, including VCDS for data-logging and fault finding
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with VAG and BMW vehicles
- Experience fitting and balancing tyres
Preferred Experience
- Basic understanding of tuning principles for both petrol and diesel engines
